The Early Years

I think I have opened Pandora’s Box writing About Me – Linda Wright. I am going to expand each of my years’ sections that I have already written.

Early Years

I was born in New York State. I was the only one in my immediate family born in NY. I lived in at least three different towns on Long Island, NY but not for very long at a time.

My older sisters were born in Pennsylvania. I wrote sisters for my older sister was a twin. Her twin sister is buried in PA because she only lived a few hours. The twins were 4 pounds each when they were born. That is amazing to me for my older sister grew to be very tall and wore size 11 shoes. She was very beautiful and smart.

She took care of me as an infant and even named me. She was 16 when I was born. She went to Ohio State. One of my favorite memories of that time was visiting her and staying overnight in her dorm room. I have always loved her so.

She lived in Greenwich Village in NY City and taught school in the city when she met her future husband who lived in her apartment building.
