When I finish reading a book that I really like I want to tell everyone about it and highly recommend it for others to read. The book I just finished was published In 2004 and is the autobiography of a remarkable man, someone you might know. AGAINST ALL ODDS my story was written by Chuck Norris. I knew he is a black belt World Karate Champion, a popular movie and TV star, and an author, but from the pages of his story, I learned he is so much more. I do highly recommend this book where I discovered unknown facts about this American hero.

Carlos Ray “Chuck” Norris lived his life following a positive path with his strong faith in God. He strongly believed you either followed a positive path or a negative path and you should choose the positive path.

His mother modeled this faith for him and taught him important lessons. She taught him to look for the good in all people and constantly reminded him that “God has plans for you.” She kept her boys in church. His mom said, “ God always listens, Carlos. Prayer opens the way for God to work, and God does hear. His answer came at the time he knew was best for us.”
