Beautiful or Deadly

“He has made everything beautiful” Ecclesiastes 3:11

Use your imagination and visualize. a snowflake. Look at it very closely and see the lace pattern the snowflake is made out of. It is truly a beautiful creation. Look at several snowflakes each one is a different design and has its own beauty. Now invision a peaceful gentle snowflake falling on a peaceful village. Keep imaging snowflakes falling and soon this gentle storm. is enjoyed by children of all ages. See children sledding and adults riding in a sleigh. All is tranquil. Now switch the scene. Now imagine too many snowflakes falling too quickly and causing dangerous situations on roads and mountainsides. Imagine the. danger of loss of life caused. by an avalanche or a snow covered highway or a too slippery bridge. See a scene of early pioneers becoming trapped in a snow covered pass as they are trying to go out west. Too much snow can cause deaths. The white snow flake can be both beautiful and deadly.

Now picture a summer day at your favorite lake or seaside spot. Everyone is enjoying playing in or near the water. This body of water holds beauty and joy. See the sailboat on the calm water pass you by. It starts to rain and the water drops feel refreshing. It is a calm beautiful scene in your mind’s eye. Switch the scene to Staten Island where people were hit by 15 feet waves during Hurricane Sandy. Imagine scenes of flooding and people…
