“So then; whether you eat or drink, or whatever you may do, do all for the honor and glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31

Every person is uniquely made by our beyond comprehensible God. Everyone’s finger print and DNA are different from everyone else’s. As unique physical individuals, I have come to believe our thoughts and beliefs are also unique.

1 Corinthians is saying to me that glorifying God is the important thing, what is in our heart is what matters. My beliefs and practices are different from other believer’s beliefs and practices. That does not matter. I am not wrong nor are they wrong if we differ in how we worship the Lord.

Believing by saying with our mouths and believing in our hearts that Jesus is Lord is the only thing that matters.

John the Baptist baptized people to follow “The Way”. The original followers of Jesus were not called Christians but followers of “The Way”. The apostles started churches that were all unique in their congregations who were followers of “The Way”.

We can thank Rome that eventually all the many different sects and believers in Christ were united under one Church. The Catholic Church, the first organized religion, set up its organization and united Christians. One church, one belief system…
