Empty Cup / Full Cup

You anoint my head with oil; my…cup runs over. Psalm 23:5

God does not want us to be empty cups.

We are valuable in God’s eyes and He wants to fill our cups to overflowing.

If a cup is empty nothing can be poured out of it for anyone else or anything kept for ourselves.

God wants to give to us but if we will not receive, our cups remain empty.

We can not give what we do not have.

God can fill your cup with many good things.

God’s love can fill you. God commanded you to love others as you love yourself. If you do not realize how much God loves you, His unconditional love, and accept it you can not give His love away.

One of my daily prayers is to let God’s love flow through me to others. You must receive God’s love to give it away.

If your cup is empty you have nothing to give. As you give God’s love away God refills your cup until it runs over.

God fills our cups with many blessings. He freely gives His grace, His loving kindness, His unmerited favor, and His forgiveness with His love to us.

We are so blessed to be a blessing to others. We have to know and realize how blessed we are to give those blessings away.
