“Lord, the one you love is sick. When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it…Yet when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days. On his arrival, Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days.” John 11: 3–4, 6,17
I expected there to be differences living in the North East of the United States and living in the South East of the country. I lived in what was considered the country in both areas. Up North, I did not live in a city but it was a highly-populated area. I did not know all the people who lived there. About half an hour away in any direction you could be in a small city. About an hour and a half away are larger cities. Living in the Lehigh Valley, I lived in a populated suburbia area. Traffic was always heavy no matter what road you were traveling on.
Here in the South, this area is more rural, less populated where I am staying. Hardly any car traffic. No traffic to wait for to turn on to the “highway” from the driveway. Yes, people travel by car but the traffic is light. This is a country area. I have not met many neighbors, most are strangers. The nearest small city is an hour away and larger cities two hours or more…
