Do you know what you want?

If you called a friend and were too general with your wants. from them they would not know how to help you. The more specific you can make your wants known the better chance you will attain what you want.

If you know what you want you should know close to or exactly what it is you are asking for.

If you went to a car dealership and stated you wanted to buy a new car the salesman would be delighted but unable to help you until you narrowned down your want. You’d have a greater measure of success if you stated you wanted a used car with low mileage, a Ford or Dodge not more than 5 years old that seated 5 people. The dealer then would have something to work with to help you obtain your goal of getting a new car.

When we ask God for something we can reach our goal if we. are more specific than general.

I want to lose weight may be too general where I want to lose 15 pounds in 3 weeks or be a specific weight two months from now is a more specific request and will help us get what we want by setting a goal and…
