Two Are Better Than One

In the tv series The Chosen, Jesus asked two brothers to plow and seed a field. Jesus praises them for their hard work and for them accomplishing the task in a day. The drama shows the two men pulling a plow with all their strength just as I would picture two oxen pulling a plow. It struck me that it took the strength of the two of them to get the job done. Two were stronger and better than one. A demonstration of Solomon’s words. Although that was not the point Jesus was making it was a visual confirmation that two are better than one. The brothers helped each other succeed.
