Last Christmas I was given a unique bookmark that immediately became my favorite bookmark that I have ever owned. It is made of two pieces of flexible wire. Being about 7 inches long the two wires are twisted together to write my first name in cursive in its middle and twisted together to form a cross on one end.

I love this bookmark. I enjoy the look of the wire sculpture and seeing the cross peek out of the top of my book marking the page I am on.

Today I was upset seeing the cross misshaped and crushed when I picked up my book. I could not understand what had crushed my wonderful bookmark. I immediately reshaped the wires wondering if I had made it look like it had before. It is only made of pliable wire but it means a lot to me.

What it is made of is not its beauty although I would not like it made of anything else.

Someone had formed my bookmark out of wire and someone had formed me and you out of dust.

Just like my bookmark I am wonderfully made for a purpose and so are you. I am twisted, molded into shape. Just like my bookmark, I…
